Workshop—July 13, 2009

1) Boat Slip Lease (MB)

Board discussed earlier revisions to lease (February workshop). Lease will be brought to workshop after review by district attorney.

2) PP34 Agenda Item Policy/Form (MB)

Board reviewed revisions to PP34. Will consider at next board meeting.

3) Bylaws Amendment (MB)

Board discussed additional amendments to bylaws based on attorney recommendation. Will be submitted in writing at next meeting with Trustee Cole as co-sponsor. Changes to bylaws will necessitate changes to PP40. PP 40 changes were presented and discussed.

4) ARC Permit Form (JVM) FYI

ARC Committee will utilize a different form for those items not needing county permits. Trial period for approximately 3 months.

5) Disposal of District Property (JVM)

Discussion of disposal of old items with little or no value. Policy reviewed. Items determined to be junk.

6) Termite Treat Maintenance Building (JVM)

Discussed 4 bids. Will bring bid forward to be considered at next meeting.

7) Mangrove Trim (JVM)

Discussed Navigational trimming versus historical trimming. Reviewed 3 bids. Will bring bid forward to be considered at next meeting.
