Meeting called to order: 9:30 A.M. by Martha Brauer   

 

ROLL CALL:  Taken by Margo Cushaman – Martha Brauer, Margo Cushman, Harry Fitzpatrick, Fred Hoch, Janet Jones, John VanderMolen.  Absent: Pam Cole, Gail Opper, Joe Salerno

 

CORRESPONDENCE:  Martha Brauer read a letter from Pam Cole requesting to participate in todays shade meeting by telephone.  Due to extra ordinary circumstances Pam is unable to attend today’s shade meeting in person. (Letter on file in office)  Margo Cushman made a motion to approve this special request and John VanderMolen seconded the motion.  Harry Fitzpatrick questioned as to whether the phone system had been adjusted to handle this situation.  Martha confirmed that it was all set.  No further discussion.  Motion passed 6-0.

 

Martha read a letter from Gail Opper requesting that she be permitted to participate in the shade meeting by telephone.  Due to extra ordinary circumstances Gail is unable to attend today’s shade meeting in person. (Letter on file in office)  Janet Jones made the motion to approve this special request and Margo Cushman seconded it.  No discussion. Motion passed 6-0.

 

Martha read a letter from Joe Salerno requesting that he be permitted to participate in the shade meeting by telephone.  Due to extra ordinary circumstances Gail is unable to attend today’s shade meeting in person. (Letter on file in office)  Fred Hoch made a motion to approve this special request and Harry Fitzpatrick seconded the motion.  No discussion.  Motion passed 6-0.

 

OLD BUSINESS: Mark Barnaby, Attorney for District made a request for a private litigation assessment meeting regarding the Smith-Denson case.  He estimated one and a half hours for this meeting.  Martha Brauer announced the attendees for this meeting would be Martha Brauer, Pam Cole (via phone), Margo Cushman, Harry Fitzpatrick, Fred Hoch, Janet Jones, Gail Opper (via phone), Joe Salerno (via phone), John VanderMolen, Mark Barnaby (legal counsel), Tom Schultz (legal counsel).

 

Martha recessed the meeting at 9:40 a.m. to the private attorney client session.

Martha concluded the private session and opened the public session at 11:38 a.m.  Harry Fitzpatrick did not return to public session. Mark Barnaby proposed the meeting be adjourned.
